Project Momentum is a proud member of Nash County's CARE Coalition.

What is CARE?

"We are made up of a collection of community members, healthcare providers, law enforcement, local government, and those in recovery. Through our open-table approach to collaboration, we want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2017, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our coalition upon: support, recovery, and education.

CARE Mission: Our mission is to provide collaborative strategies and solutions to address substance use and/or behavioral health while improving the overall health of the community.

CARE Vision: Nash County is a thriving, healthy community where individuals and families facing challenges related to substance use and/or behavioral health have access to quality supports and resources." - CARE website

CARE is funded through the Rural Communities Opioid Response Program (RCORP) Planning Grant.
